Announcement

Dear Valued Epic Touch Customer,

After nearly 70 years of service, the Boaldin family has made the heartfelt decision to pass the torch. We have signed an agreement with IdeaTek Telcom, a fellow Kansas-based fiber internet provider, to acquire Epic Touch.

We want to sincerely thank you for your loyalty over the decades. IdeaTek shares our deep commitment to rural communities, local support, and carrying on the legacy started by Curtis and Reba Whitecotton, and Bob and Dian Boaldin.

What Does This Mean for You?

For now, you can expect no changes:

  • Service Continues: Your internet and phone services will continue to work exactly as they do today, under the same terms and quality you expect.
  • The Same Team: You will still see the familiar, local employees you rely on for support.
  • No Immediate Changes to Billing: You should continue to pay your bills as usual.

This new partnership is about bringing more resources and future-proofing your connection. IdeaTek is focused on fighting for internet freedom and expanding fiber access throughout Kansas.

By joining IdeaTek, you will benefit from:

  • Faster Speeds: Access to IdeaTek’s full range of plans, including cutting-edge fiber services like their 8 Gig service with unlimited data and no contracts.
  • Continued Local Investment: IdeaTek is dedicated to making further investment in the local network infrastructure.
  • Shared Commitment: Like us, IdeaTek's mission is to ensure rural Kansas has the powerful, reliable connection needed to support your livelihoods, from day-to-day business to staying connected with family.

We look forward to a strong future and will keep you informed as we move closer to the closing date, which is expected in early 2026. Thank you once again for your trust and business. To learn more about IdeaTek, you can visit https://ideatek.com/about-us/.
